Holiday Events In Plano and Frisco

While this year felt like it’s lasted forty, the holidays are upon us once again. And Plano and Frisco are bustling with excitement and events, even in the midst of COVID-19. Below is a brief snapshot of  some holiday events coming to our area!

Deerfield Lights

It’s time again for the Annual Deerfield Holiday light display! If you plan to visit the neighborhood during times of high traffic, use the entrances from Quincy, Preston Meadow, or Ohio. There is no reason to wait in lines on Legacy drive which tend to push people into one place. If you plan to park in the neighborhood, please only park on the south sides of the road in the direction of traffic flow per the law. There is plenty of room to park in the north side of the neighborhood. When parking in cul-de-sacs, please follow the law and park with tires parallel to the curb. It is not legal to park facing the curb at any time and inhibits traffic mobility. Please remember this is a neighborhood like any other. Be respectful of the light displays, keep noise to a minimum, and stay off of residents’ property unless you are explicitly invited to enter as some displays allow.
We hope you have a great holiday season and enjoy yourselves!

Gingerbread Village at the Shops at Legacy

Experience holiday fun with a drive through at the Gingerbread Village on the north side of The Shops at Legacy, where everyone can view life-sized gingerbread and sugar cookie characters, trees, candy canes, and snowflakes on colorful facades. Guests can enjoy from their vehicles or walk around to pose for photo opportunities. There will be plenty of holiday decorations to discover and enjoy throughout the north side of The Shops at Legacy. Find the village in the center of Lone Star Drive surrounding Apricot Lane and ella bleu.  Start your tour by the Toy Factory, and make your way toward Winterland.  Then take your picture by Heart Mountain as you move north to Gingy’s Sweets.  That’s the perfect spot for a selfie at our, “Life is Sweet,” station.  Remember to include #shopsatlegacy in all your photos. Finally, if you’ve been nice this year, don’t forget to send Santa a letter from our mailbox with a direct line to the North Pole.
